Secretary of the City Party Committee talks about the arrangement of wards and communes in Hanoi
Hanoi - Secretary of the City Party Committee Bui Thi Minh Hoai affirmed that the arrangement of commune-level administrative units is being carried out very urgently, but must ensure stability.
On the afternoon of April 17, Politburo member, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Hanoi City Bui Thi Minh Hoai met with voters of Election Unit No. 4 (Gia Lam District, Hoang Mai District) before the 9th session of the 15th National Assembly.

At the beginning, Deputy Head of the Hanoi National Assembly Delegation Pham Thi Thanh Mai reported on the expected content of the 9th session of the 15th National Assembly; reported on the synthesis of replies from ministries, branches and Hanoi City on the opinions and recommendations of voters in localities in the previous meeting.
Giving recommendations to National Assembly delegates, voter Tran Anh Hong (Mai Dong ward, Hoang Mai district), voter Ho Thi Mau (Phu Dong commune, Gia Lam district) recommended that the central government and Hanoi City soon have specific guidance documents on resolving the regime for non-professional working groups at the commune level participating in working in villages and residential groups.
Voter Tran Thu Hang (Tran Phu ward, Hoang Mai district) proposed that the Government and the National Assembly speed up the development of the Law on Personal Income Tax (replacement), to soon adjust the family deduction for taxpayers and dependents, and reduce the burden on the people.
On behalf of National Assembly deputies to discuss with voters, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Bui Thi Minh Hoai acknowledged and accepted all voters' opinions to report to the National Assembly.
Emphasizing that the ninth session is very important, deciding many major revolutionary issues, the Secretary of the City Party Committee affirmed that the Hanoi City National Assembly Delegation will actively research, discuss and from the opinions raised by voters will participate best, contributing to the success of the session.
The Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee quickly informed about the situation of the capital and the country in recent times, especially the revolutionary policies decided by the Central Executive Committee at the 11th Conference. According to the Secretary of the City Party Committee, Hanoi has 526 communes, wards and towns and is the locality with the second largest number of commune-level administrative units in the country (after Thanh Hoa province). Regarding non-professional cadres who must end their activities, the Secretary of the City Party Committee said that the whole city has about 8,000 non-professional cadres at the commune level; so along with waiting for specific instructions from the Central Government, the city will also study to have appropriate policies, ensuring "reasonableness and worthiness".
