Supervising the implementation of legal regulations on labor protection

On July 8, the inter-sectoral supervisory delegation of Tuyen Quang province led by Mr. Nguyen Hung Manh - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation worked with Phuong Bac General Hospital to grasp the implementation of the provisions of the Labor Code, Trade Union Law, Social Insurance Law and Law on Occupational Safety and Health at the Hospital.

In recent years, Phuong Bac General Hospital has fully implemented the provisions of law on labor, social insurance and occupational safety and health. The hospital currently has 489 officials, doctors, nurses, technicians and employees.

All eligible employees are signed labor contracts, salaries, bonuses and regimes and policies are implemented publicly and transparently, ensuring the rights of employees, promptly resolving sickness, maternity, occupational accidents, retirement and other benefits according to regulations.

Workplace dialogue, building collective labor agreements, and organizing employee conferences are maintained regularly, contributing to building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations.

Regarding occupational safety and health, Phuong Bac General Hospital has developed a process to control unsafe risks during medical examination and treatment, and periodically organizes training on fire and explosion prevention, radiation safety, chemical safety, infection control and occupational risk prevention.

Workers are fully equipped with labor protection equipment suitable for each job position; the working environment is improved in a safe and friendly direction, meeting professional requirements.

Members of the supervisory delegation focused on exchanging and clarifying many contents such as the development of salary scales; implementation of grassroots democracy regulations; periodic dialogue work; social insurance and unemployment insurance contributions and benefits.

Some opinions are concerned about the implementation of regimes for female workers, workers working in conditions with dangerous and toxic factors; occupational safety and health training and building plans for prevention and response to incidents that may occur in the hospital environment.

Mr. Nguyen Hung Manh - Vice Chairman of Tuyen Quang Provincial Labor Federation acknowledged the proactiveness of Phuong Bac General Hospital in implementing the provisions of labor law and social insurance.

Vice Chairman of Tuyen Quang Provincial Labor Federation requested the hospital to continue reviewing the implementation of regimes and policies for workers. Enhance the role of trade union organizations in representing, caring for and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers.

At the same time, pay more attention to the work of preventing work accidents and occupational diseases, building a safe and civilized working environment, contributing to improving the quality of medical examination and treatment and sustainable hospital development.
