Vinh Long - The Provincial Federation of Labor aims to establish 9 enterprise unions, 15 communes and wards, and admit 1,300 workers by the end of 2025.

According to the plan of the Vinh Long Provincial Federation of Labor, in the last 6 months of 2025, the province will focus on developing union members and establishing unions in non-state enterprises and communes and wards with a large number of workers in the area.

The goal is to establish 9 grassroots trade unions (CDCS) at enterprises and 15 trade unions in communes and wards, with a total expected of nearly 1,350 new union members.

To date, the Provincial Federation of Labor has launched 4 grassroots unions at enterprises, admitting hundreds of more union members. The remaining 5 units are expected to be established in September 2025.

Specifically, in August 2025, the Provincial Federation of Labor successfully established 4 grassroots unions, including Dream Vinh Long Co., Ltd. (500 employees), Lien Hang Shoes Co., Ltd. (200 employees), Yu Yuan VN Co., Ltd. (200 employees), and Tasifish Import-Export Joint Stock Company (300 employees).

The newly established grassroots trade unions will be an important bridge between workers and enterprises, helping to represent, care for and protect the legitimate and legal rights of union members.

This is an effort of the Provincial Federation of Labor to achieve the goals assigned by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, while promoting the role of trade unions in building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations in the locality.
