Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor donates 4 Trade Union Shelters to union members in difficult circumstances
Dong Thap - The Provincial Federation of Labor organized the presentation of 4 Trade Union Shelters to union members with difficult housing circumstances on August 22.
The activity aims to practically celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).
Attending were Ms. Huynh Thi Tuyet Vui - President of the Provincial Federation of Labor, representatives of the Provincial Federation of Labor Organization Department, local authorities, grassroots unions (CDCS) and supported families.
The union members receiving support this time are Doan Van Do - pilmico Vietnam Co., Ltd. Trade Union, Nguyen Thi Hong Tham - Cao Lanh 2 Regional Medical Center Trade Union, Tran Thi Thuy Duong - Phong My Kindergarten Trade Union, Vo Minh Duong - Phong My Commune Trade Union.
The houses have a total value of 95 million VND to 180 million VND, of which the Golden Heart Social Charity Fund - Dong Thap Branch supports 60 million VND/house, the rest is contributed by family and relatives.
Ms. Huynh Thi Tuyet Vui - President of the Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor said: "The Trade Union Shelter Program is one of the practical activities of the Trade Union organization, aiming to promptly support and share difficulties with union members, helping them stabilize their lives, work with peace of mind and production and stick with the Trade Union organization".
It is known that the houses handed over this time are part of the Project of 100 Trade Union Shelters implemented by the Provincial Federation of Labor in 2025, both to practically care for union members and celebrate major holidays and towards Party Congresses at all levels and the 14th National Party Congress.
