Establishment of a grassroots trade union in Long Giang Industrial Park

On September 6, the Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor (DOLF) held a ceremony to announce the Decision to establish a grassroots trade union (CDCS) of Kinh Thien Viet Nam Technical Technology Materials Company Limited (Long Giang Industrial Park, Tan Phuoc 3 Commune, Dong Thap Province) specializing in the production of dien static paint powder.

At the ceremony, representatives of the Provincial Federation of Labor announced and presented the Decision to admit 24 union members, the Decision to establish a grassroots union, and the Decision to recognize the grassroots union executive committee of 03 members. Ms. Dao Kim Thoa was appointed as Chairman of the Trade Union of the Vietnam Binh Thien Technical Materials Company Limited.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nhan - Head of the Industrial Parks Trade Union Department congratulated the 24 workers who officially became union members. At the same time, Mr. Thanh Nhan also suggested that the Executive Committee of the Trade Union proactively develop regulations for the Executive Committee's activities, coordinate with employers to develop regulations for coordination of activities, participate in the development of collective labor agreements; organize well the work of caring for and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers.

Ms. Dao Kim Thoa - Chairman of the Company's Trade Union expressed her gratitude to the Provincial Federation of Labor and the Company's leaders for their attention and facilitation in the process of propagating and mobilizing workers to voluntarily write applications to join the Trade Union and support the process of organizing the establishment of the Company's Trade Union so that workers have the conditions to participate in trade union activities, participate in cultural and sports activities, and contribute to improving the cultural and spiritual life of workers.

Ms. Dao Kim Thoa promised to strengthen internal solidarity, strengthen organization, and perform well assigned tasks; coordinate with employers to develop regulations according to the provisions of law, accompany the Company in all activities to contribute to the excellent completion of the enterprise's production plan, improve labor productivity, and create jobs to increase income for employees.

On this occasion, the Provincial Federation of Labor presented 24 free general health check-ups and screening forms to union members with a total value of nearly 30,000,000 VND sponsored by Thai Huy General Clinic.
