Establishment of the grassroots trade union of Berjaya - Long Beach Joint Stock Company in Phu Quoc

On May 11, the Phu Quoc Special Zone Trade Union (An Giang) held a ceremony to announce the decision to establish the grassroots Trade Union of Berjaya - Long Beach Joint Stock Company with 119 union members participating in activities.

At the ceremony, representatives of the An Giang Provincial Labor Federation announced the decisions to establish the grassroots Trade Union of Berjaya - Long Beach Joint Stock Company; admit trade union members and appoint the Executive Committee and the Inspection Committee of the grassroots trade union for the first term.

The establishment of grassroots trade unions aims to care for and protect the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers; create a bridge between workers and businesses, contributing to building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations. At the same time, grassroots trade unions will launch labor production emulation movements, improve service quality, and contribute to the sustainable development of businesses.

Speaking to receive the assignment, Mr. To Quoc Dang - Chairman of the Company's grassroots trade union expressed his determination to unite, promote the role of representing and caring for union members and workers; coordinate with the business leadership to build a stable, civilized and effective working environment.

On this occasion, the Phu Quoc Special Zone Trade Union also guided the Executive Committee of the grassroots trade union to implement key tasks in the coming time; promote propaganda and mobilization of union members to well comply with the Party's guidelines, the State's policies and laws, and the internal regulations and rules of enterprises.
