Consecutive establishment of 3 grassroots unions in 1 ward in Da Nang
The Hoa Cuong Ward Trade Union, Da Nang on June 22 announced the decision to establish 3 new grassroots trade unions and admit a total of 55 union members.
Three new grassroots trade unions were established at enterprises: Branch of Phuc Linh Investment and Trading Company Limited in Da Nang (including 27 union members), SCD Real Estate Group Joint Stock Company (13 union members), and Branch of Smart Vision Lab Company Limited (15 union members).
At the ceremony, the Da Nang City Labor Federation announced the decisions to establish grassroots trade unions and appointed temporary executive boards for the three units above.
The event was attended by Ms. Pham Thi Thu Hien, member of the Standing Committee of the City Labor Federation, and representatives of the Party Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hoa Cuong ward.
Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Pham Thi Thu Hien affirmed the role and necessity of trade unions in enterprises. She suggested that the Executive Board of the new grassroots trade unions closely coordinate with the company's leadership to effectively carry out the work of caring for and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers.
Ms. Hien also emphasized that grassroots unions need to proactively grasp the thoughts and aspirations of union members, and at the same time organize emulation movements to improve business efficiency, contribute to stabilizing jobs and improving the lives of workers.
