Quang Tri Labor Federation admits more than 1,200 new union members in 2025

Quang Tri - In 2025, the Provincial Federation of Labor admitted more than 1,200 new union members, promoted training, improved skills and expertise for the team of union officials.

On December 24, the Quang Tri Provincial Federation of Labor (LDLD) said that in 2025, trade unions at all levels admitted 1,206 new union members, established 19 grassroots trade unions (CDCS), including 1 union with 86 union members; at the same time, dissolved 17 grassroots trade unions due to the number of union members not being enough according to regulations and 2 grassroots trade unions of public service units received 100% of the budget.

Along with developing union members, the Provincial Federation of Labor focuses on improving the quality of the team of union officials through training programs on dialogue skills, negotiation, signing collective labor agreements, accounting, supervision, propaganda and implementation of grassroots democracy regulations. During the year, the whole province organized 10 training courses for 745 grassroots union officials; the thematic training conference directly delivered by Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Ngo Duy Hieu attracted 95 union officials to attend.

In addition, the Provincial Federation of Labor also organizes training courses on the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in trade union activities for full-time staff. The work of developing the Party among union members continues to be focused on, introducing 809 outstanding union members to the Party for consideration of admission; of which 409 people have been admitted, including 9 party members who are workers in the enterprise sector.
