Khanh Hoa strives to cover trade unions in qualified enterprises

Innovation of activities from Workers' Month

On July 16, Khanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor held a summary of activities for Workers' Month and Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Hygiene in 2025.

In the context of restructuring the apparatus, Khanh Hoa Trade Unions at all levels have implemented Workers' Month well with many innovations suitable to reality.

Ms. Tran Thi Thu Thuy, Vice President of the Trade Union of Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest Company, said that she organized the "Union Meal" program during Workers' Month 2025.

The program was held for the first time at 5 locations, providing 1,940 meals worth 30,000-50,000 VND.

"Union Meal" is not only a more valuable meal than usual but also an opportunity to create connection and understanding between leaders and workers.

The grassroots trade union of Nam Viet Company has proactively organized health care and safety activities for workers.

The union has increased online information on occupational safety and hygiene, organized training classes and equipped with protective clothing.

The trade union also coordinates with enterprises to inspect safety equipment and monitor the working environment, ensuring safety for workers.

Mr. Phan Thanh Liem, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation, said that the whole province has more than 1,240 grassroots unions organizing practical activities for union members and workers during the peak month towards workers.

Trade unions at all levels also visited and supported 7,200 workers in difficult circumstances, those who had work-related accidents, and those with occupational diseases, with a total budget of over 3 billion VND.

The Provincial Federation of Labor supported the construction and repair of houses for 27 union members with housing difficulties with a total cost of VND 1.150 billion.

There are 24 grassroots trade unions organizing "Union Meals" with more than 5,200 meals, worth more than 276 million VND, contributing to improving union member meals...

Mr. Phan Thanh Liem said that before the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union, Khanh Hoa Trade Unions at all levels are focusing on effectively operating the trade union organization in the current context.

Khanh Hoa will arrange the trade union apparatus synchronously and effectively, improving the quality of the staff.

In addition to strengthening existing grassroots trade unions, the province will develop union members to celebrate the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union.

In particular, it will promote solutions in the Resolution to develop union members and establish grassroots unions in non-state enterprises, striving to cover all eligible enterprises with trade union organizations.
