Imprints of union member development in Nghe An Trade Union
In the first 6 months of 2026, Nghe An Trade Union levels synchronously and actively deployed the work of developing union members and establishing grassroots trade unions. Many union member admission ceremonies and announcements of decisions to establish grassroots trade unions were solemnly organized, creating an impression on workers right from the time they joined the Trade Union organization.
One of the highlights is the reception ceremony for 50 new union members of Perception USA Fashion Garment Co., Ltd. Trade Union. On the morning of May 17, 2026, at the Thuong Dien Temple and Nghi Dien Martyrs Memorial historical site, Nghi Loc Commune Trade Union directed the company's trade union to organize the reception ceremony for new union members in a solemn space, rich in historical significance.
The selection of this location not only makes the ceremony more solemn but also contributes to educating tradition, arousing patriotism and national pride for workers.
Previously, Hanoi Medical and Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company - Thai Hoa organized a ceremony to announce the decision to admit union members and establish a grassroots trade union. The grassroots trade union of Hanoi Medical and Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company - Thai Hoa was established according to Decision No. 216 dated April 29, 2026 of the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation. At the ceremony, 20 employees of the branch were recognized as members of the Vietnam Trade Union.
The establishment of new grassroots trade unions has been promoted in many fields and localities.
According to Ms. Nguyen Hoang Yen - official of the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation, mobilizing the development of union members and establishing grassroots trade unions is a work that requires perseverance.
Data from the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation, as of May 2026, the whole province has 151,847 union members, operating in 669 grassroots trade unions. In the first 4 months of the year alone, the whole province has newly established 23 grassroots trade unions, admitted 2,634 union members, and at the same time developed more than 3,000 union members in units that already have trade union organizations.
Exchanging about the achieved results, Mr. Kha Van Tam - Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation - said: "The results in developing union members and establishing grassroots trade unions in the past time are a great effort of the team of trade union officials at all levels.
