Tran Yen Trade Union receives 524 more union members from the grassroots level

On May 30, Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation informed that Tran Yen Commune Trade Union had just organized a conference to hand over the grassroots Trade Union of Vina KNF International Co., Ltd. from the Trade Union Board of Industrial Parks to be directly under the Commune Trade Union.

At the conference, the parties agreed to transfer the organizational, dossier, financial and trade union activities of enterprises in their original state from May 1, 2026.

The grassroots trade union of Vina KNF International Co., Ltd. currently has 524 union members, including 475 female union members; the Executive Committee includes 5 members, and the Inspection Committee includes 3 members.

The handover aims to consolidate the trade union organization according to the new model, creating conditions for the Tran Yen Commune Trade Union to strengthen management and guide trade union activities at enterprises to be closer to reality.

Thereby continuing to care for the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers, promoting the development of union members and building strong trade union organizations.

To date, Tran Yen Commune Trade Union is managing 25 grassroots trade unions with more than 1,700 union members.

Speaking at the conference, Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Nhiem - Chairwoman of the Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation affirmed that the handover of the grassroots Trade Union of Vina KNF International Co., Ltd. is a specific step to concretize the policy of arranging the trade union organization in a streamlined and effective direction, associated with residential areas and administrative units.

The Chairman of the Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation requested the Tran Yen Commune Trade Union to urgently receive dossiers, union members, books; guide and support the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union of Vina KNF International Co., Ltd. to complete operating regulations, maintain the order of trade union work and accompany businesses in building harmonious and stable labor relations.

For the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union of Vina KNF International Co., Ltd., Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Nhiem requested to quickly stabilize the organization, ideology of union members and workers; proactively deploy emulation movements and operating programs suitable to the actual situation of the enterprise.

Leaders of the Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation also requested the Board of Directors of Vina KNF International Co., Ltd. to continue to coordinate and create conditions for trade unions to operate effectively, well implement democracy regulations at the workplace, contributing to promoting production and business activities of enterprises.
