Vietnam Forestry Corporation Trade Union admits 285 more union members
Hanoi - In the 2023-2025 period, the Vietnam Forestry Corporation Trade Union admitted 285 more union members.
At the 7th Conference of the Vietnam Forestry Corporation Trade Union, term 2025-2030, the Corporation Trade Union said that the period 2023-2025 is a particularly challenging period when the wood processing industry is affected by economic fluctuations, tariffs and logistics costs, causing many units to have to cut more than half of their labor.
In that context, the Corporation's Trade Union still maintains its representative role, proactively coordinates with professionals to stabilize jobs, take care of union members' lives and especially still admits 285 new union members despite a sharp decrease in the total number of workers. Social security activities and support for workers affected by natural disasters have been implemented promptly and effectively.
