Ward Trade Union in Lam Dong launched, managing nearly 3,900 union members

On January 30, the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation said that the unit had just organized the announcement of the decision of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation on the establishment of the Trade Union of Ward 1 Bao Loc.

Standing Vice Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation Ho Cong Duong attended and delivered a directing speech at the ceremony.

According to the decision, the Trade Union of Ward 1 Bao Loc has the task of managing 87 grassroots trade unions with a total of 3,877 union members.

Grassroots trade unions directly under the Trade Union of Ward 1 Bao Loc are located in 8 communes and wards in Bao Loc City and Bao Lam district (old), including: Ward 1, Ward 2, Ward 3 Bao Loc and communes Bao Lam 1, Bao Lam 2, Bao Lam 3, Bao Lam 4, Bao Lam 5.

After establishment, the Trade Union of Ward 1 Bao Loc has legal status, seals, and private accounts; is equipped with facilities and working equipment according to regulations; is organized and operates according to the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union and the guidance of the superior trade union.

The Executive Committee of the Trade Union of Ward 1 Bao Loc consists of 6 people. Among them, Mr. Vo Lam Vinh - Deputy Head of the Culture - Society Committee of the People's Council of Ward 1 Bao Loc - was appointed by the Standing Committee of the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation to hold the position of Chairman of the Ward Trade Union, term 2025-2030.

The establishment of the Trade Union of Ward 1 Bao Loc marks a new step in development in the organization and scale of trade union activities at the grassroots level. Thereby, contributing to not leaving the area vacant in the work of gathering and caring for union members and workers.

In the coming time, the Ward Trade Union Executive Committee will focus on innovating the content and methods of operation; effectively perform the function of representing and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers; promote patriotic emulation movements.

The Ward Trade Union will propagate and implement the Resolution of the Party Congress, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress and Trade Union Congresses at all levels for the 2025–2030 term; focusing on building a team of trade union officials with bravery, discipline, sense of responsibility and professional working style.

The focus is on effectively organizing emulation movements such as: "Good labor – Creative labor", "Good at state affairs, good at housework", "Green, clean, beautiful, ensuring labor safety and hygiene", "Innovation, creativity, efficiency in trade union activities".

In addition, the ward trade union will coordinate to mobilize resources, organize the Binh Ngo Reunion Tet 2026 program according to the motto "All union members have Tet"; promote the role of trade union organizations in participating in building the Party, government and political system at the grassroots level.
