Hai Phong Trade Union strives to develop 10,000 union members in Workers' Month

On the afternoon of March 20, the Standing Committee of Hai Phong City Labor Federation for the term 2025-2030 held the 2nd conference.

The conference exchanged, discussed, and unanimously approved the Plan to organize activities for Workers' Month 2026; the Program to improve the quality of the city's trade union officials to meet the requirements and tasks in the new situation; the Program for digital transformation, application of technology and data in management, administration and trade union activities; the Plan to organize the Conference to commend Creative Labor - Typical Good Labor in 2025 and some other important contents.

According to the plan, Workers' Month 2026 is organized from April 10 to May 31 with a series of activities to care for union members and workers. In which, the Labor Federation plans to visit, give gifts, and subsidize 1,000 union members in particularly difficult circumstances; donate 10,000 sets of motorcycle lubricant, organize health counseling, psychological counseling, and reproductive health care for workers... The City Labor Federation plans to have 10,000 union members benefit from care activities in Workers' Month 2026.

The Standing Committee contributes opinions to the targets and tasks of Workers' Month 2026. Thereby agreeing on the target of developing 10,000 new union members in Workers' Month; supporting funding for building and repairing 20 Trade Union Warm Houses; at least 75 collective labor agreements were newly signed and re-signed, including 30 types B and above...

Speaking at the conclusion of the conference, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - Chairman of Hai Phong City Labor Federation requested departments and units to clarify new points and outstanding activities in Workers' Month 2026 to propagate to union members and workers, spreading the spirit of Workers' Month to each union member. Along with that, allocate targets for Workers' Month to departments and units; deploy activities in the month towards union members and workers, creating a vibrant emulation atmosphere, so that Workers' Month is truly a big festival for union members and workers in the city.
