Details of 6 commune and ward trade unions established in the old Ba Ria and Phu My cities
HCMC - In the area of 8 commune-level administrative units in Ba Ria City and the old Phu My City, 6 commune and ward trade unions have been established.
After the merger into Ho Chi Minh City, 3 commune-level administrative units were established in the old Ba Ria City. Of which, only 2 commune-level administrative units are eligible to establish commune and ward trade unions.
Grassroots trade unions (CDCS) - union members in Long Huong ward (including 17 grassroots trade unions - 459 union members - not eligible to establish commune and ward trade unions) are assigned to Tam Long ward trade union for management.
The list of 2 commune and ward trade unions established in the old Ba Ria City area, now under Ho Chi Minh City is as follows:
Ba Ria Ward Trade Union: 65 grassroots trade unions and 4,439 union members.
Tam Long Ward Trade Union (in charge of Long Huong Ward): 32 grassroots unions and 2,190 union members.
After the merger, 5 commune-level administrative units were established in the old Phu My city, including 4 wards and 1 commune. Of which, only 4 commune-level administrative units are eligible to establish commune and ward unions.
The grassroots trade unions - union members in Tan Hai ward (with 10 grassroots trade unions - 408 union members - not eligible to establish a commune or ward trade union) are assigned to Chau Pha commune trade union for management.
The list of 4 commune and ward trade unions established in the old Phu My city area, now under Ho Chi Minh City is as follows:
Phu My Ward Trade Union: 212 grassroots trade unions and 36,010 union members.
Tan Thanh Ward Trade Union: 10 grassroots unions and 1,537 union members.
Tan Phuoc Ward Trade Union: 37 grassroots unions and 8,410 union members.
Chau Pha Commune Trade Union (in charge of Tan Hai Ward): 28 grassroots trade unions and 4,538 union members.
