HCMC - In the area of 5 commune-level administrative units in the old Vung Tau City, 5 commune and ward trade unions have been established.
After the merger, 5 commune-level administrative units were established in the old Vung Tau City, including 4 wards and 1 commune. In which, all commune-level administrative units are eligible to establish commune and ward trade unions.
The list of 5 commune and ward trade unions established in the old Vung Tau City area, now under Ho Chi Minh City is as follows:
Vung Tau Ward Trade Union: 120 grassroots unions and 7,121 union members.
Tam Thang Ward Trade Union: 89 grassroots unions and 5,198 union members.
Rach Dua Ward Union: 85 grassroots unions and 22,033 union members.
Phuoc Thang Ward Trade Union: 38 grassroots unions and 2,521 union members.
Long Son Commune Trade Union: 3 grassroots unions and 1,035 union members.
In Con Dao district alone, after becoming a special zone of Con Dao, a special zone union of Con Dao was established: 14 grassroots unions and 857 union members.
