Cam Duong establishes 4 grassroots unions, admits 73 new union members
Lao Cai - After more than two months of mobilization, Cam Duong Ward Trade Union has established 4 grassroots trade unions to contribute to expanding the trade union organization in the locality.
From August 1, 2025 to now, Cam Duong Ward Trade Union has proactively coordinated with units and enterprises in the area to propagate and mobilize workers to participate in trade union organizations.
Many workers and business owners have agreed and supported the establishment of trade unions at the grassroots level.
As a result, by early October, Cam Duong Ward Trade Union had newly established 4 grassroots trade unions including: Mai Linh Kindergarten, Thao Nguyen Construction and Trading Company Limited, Be Ong Independent Kindergarten and Cam Duong - Hop Thanh Construction Investment Project Management Board, with a total of 73 union members admitted to the Vietnam Trade Union.
In mid-October, Cam Duong Ward Trade Union held a conference to announce the decision to establish the above 4 grassroots trade unions.
At the conference, Lao Cai Provincial Federation of Labor awarded the decision to establish and admit new union members, and appointed the Executive Committee, Chairman and Vice Chairman for each grassroots union.
The establishment of new grassroots trade unions is expected to contribute to protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers, while improving the effectiveness of trade union activities in the ward.
