This year, the Trade Union of Sungwooo Vina Co., Ltd. (Bac Ninh province) was allocated 20 vouchers to buy goods on the online Trade Union Tet Market.

During the 2 days (January 7-8), the company's union officials directly supported the union members to buy goods in the most convenient and quickest way. The union officials invited workers to the office so that they could directly choose goods, and still operate on a computer supported by the union officials. "Many workers do not understand online operations to place orders, and may encounter many difficulties if they operate on the phone screen, so the union decided to do the above method to make it most convenient for workers in the process of purchasing goods," said Mr. Ha.

According to the Chairman of this Trade Union, the item that many workers prefer to order is household appliances (riceps, steams, etc.). By the morning of January 8, the Trade Union had completed supporting the purchase of goods for workers. The delivery location is at the company.

Ms. Le Kim Ngoc is a direct purchasing officer and also a direct supporter for purchasing workers. Ms. Ngoc said that she does all the online operations to help workers, workers only need to provide an OTP code to confirm the purchase. I am very happy to be supported for the company's union members to choose items that are satisfactory and meaningful for Tet, Ms. Ngoc shared.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hien, Head of the Production Line, said that she had successfully chosen to buy an electric rice cooker. She was very happy because the pot had a large capacity (1.8 liters), helping her family cook delicious meals. "I would like to thank the Trade Union for giving gifts and the company's trade union staff for directly supporting the purchase quickly and conveniently," Ms. Hien shared. According to her, if she handled the purchase herself, she would be very worried, afraid of handling the wrong thing or encountering many other obstacles.

Ms. Nguyen Thi's family is currently in quite difficult circumstances. Her husband is often sick and has to be treated for a long time in the hospital. All family expenses depend on her total income of about 8 million VND/month. I look forward to receiving this gift. After receiving the gift, I will immediately cook a delicious meal for the whole family, Ms. Hien shared.

Talking to reporters, Mr. Nguyen Manh Ha - Chairman of the Trade Union of Sungwoo Vina Company Limited - said that shopping on the Trade Union Tet Market in 2026 is more convenient and faster than in 2025.

There have been more than 40,000 purchases

Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Chau is a union official of the Hanoi City Labor Federation - the person who directly guides the grassroots unions in implementing purchases.

The Hanoi City Labor Federation was allocated vouchers by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to 9,000 union members and 300 instructors. "The Hanoi City Labor Federation has allocated all vouchers to the commune and ward unions, then the commune and ward unions have counted the number of union members sent to the City Labor Federation," said Ms. Chau.

According to Ms. Chau, on January 5, the tour guides were able to buy the goods, and up to now, they have almost bought them all. Ms. Chau informed that through understanding, the items that many union members ordered were household appliances such as rice cookers, pans... or washing powder, laundry detergent, fabric softener...

Speaking to reporters, Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Ha - Member of the Presidium, Deputy Head of the Labor Relations Department of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor - said that as of January 7, the number of visits on the Tet market website was more than 515,000; nearly 40,000 vouchers have been sold (out of a total of 200,000 vouchers).

"Many union officials and union members have received the goods. The feedback from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor is good, the purchases are going smoothly and easy to handle," said Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Ha.

Since the beginning of October 2025, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor has issued a plan to care for Tet 2026 with many contents to prepare resources to care for Tet for union members and people in need, including a plan to organize an online Tet Market to sell discounted goods to union members and workers in difficult circumstances as well as have outstanding achievements in production and trade union activities.

According to the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the total number of union members supported and allocated through the online Trade Union Tet Market - Spring 2026 program is 200,000 people. Sales time: From 9:00 a.m. on January 5, 2026 to 12:00 a.m. on March 4, 2026; temporary sales break during the 2026 Lunar New Year holiday (from 0:00 a.m. on February 11, 2026 to 24:00 a.m. on February 22, 2026).
