Hai Phong City Labor Federation organizes many activities on the sidelines of the 2026 Trade Union Tet Market
Hai Phong - Many activities to care for the material and spiritual lives of workers will take place within the framework of the program "Hai Phong Trade Union Tet Market 2026".
In order to create a joyful and warm atmosphere to celebrate the Lunar New Year of Binh Ngo in 2026 and care for the material and spiritual lives of union members and workers, the Trade Union organizes the "Union Tet Market" program with many meaningful, practical activities imbued with traditional national cultural identity.
The Hai Phong Trade Union Tet Market takes place for 10 days, in 2 areas in the East and West of the city to create favorable conditions for union members, workers and people to participate in the program.
In particular, the Tet market held at the Viet Tiep Friendship Labor Cultural Palace (No. 53 Lach Tray Street, Gia Vien, Hai Phong) took place from January 28 to February 1 and the Tet market at the Center for Legal Consulting and Support for Workers, facilities 2, No. 5 Ngo Quyen Street, Thanh Dong Ward, Hai Phong) took place from February 4 to 8.
The Tet Market has a scale of about 200 - 300 stalls, rich and diverse in food, essential foods, Tet jams, regional specialties, clothes, consumer goods... Products are sold at preferential prices (at a minimum discount of 10-30%), ensuring quality, helping union members and workers have conditions to shop for Tet economically, safely and conveniently.
In addition to shopping activities, the program also organizes many exciting cultural and artistic activities such as performing music and dance to celebrate Spring (k karaoke "or singing will sing well", art festival "Hello Spring Dance", folk games (cruel, bamboo cake dance). In particular, the traditional ao dai performance contest "Youth Union Member Photo" creates a bustling, cohesive atmosphere and brings moments of relaxation after a hard working time.
Attractive sideline activities such as writing calligraphy, wrapping banh chung, banh tet also promise to attract the attention of many union members, contributing to preserving and spreading traditional cultural values during the traditional New Year.
Within the framework of the program, the City Labor Federation (LDLD) will give Tet gifts, shopping vouchers, screening for stroke risk factors, metabolic diseases and free eye examinations to about 1,000 union members and workers in difficult circumstances. Thereby, showing affection, care, and sharing in a timely manner, helping workers feel warmer when Tet comes and spring comes.
