Dak Lak trade union officials suggest needing to innovate thinking, avoid following the beaten path
Dak Lak - Provincial trade union officials propose increasing full-time officials, completing guidance on organizational structure and innovating operations in the new period.
On May 13, the Dak Lak Provincial Labor Federation said that it had summarized 1,218 comments on the draft Report of the Executive Committee of the 13th Vietnam General Confederation of Labor submitted to the 14th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union.
The dissemination of opinions is widely implemented to promote the spirit of democracy, responsibility and wisdom of officials, union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers in the province regarding the draft political report of the trade union organization.

Mr. Le Anh Hung - Member of the Executive Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation, Deputy Head of the Trade Union Affairs Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dak Lak province - said that he has been associated with the trade union organization for about 20 years and has undertaken many different tasks from grassroots level to provincial level.
According to Mr. Hung, after arranging the trade union organization, the functions and tasks are basically unchanged. However, the provincial-level trade union will directly manage and guide activities to each grassroots trade union while the area in charge is wider, the number of full-time officials arranged is less, leading to many difficulties in the process of task implementation.
Regarding the goals, key targets, breakthroughs and groups of tasks and solutions in the next term, Mr. Hung assessed that the contents built are basically feasible and suitable to current practical requirements.
In addition, he also proposed supplementing solutions to strengthen the team of full-time trade union officials at provincial and city labor federations; soon issue specific guidelines on the functions and tasks of commune and ward-level trade unions. At the same time, it is necessary to promote the training and fostering of trade union officials to meet the requirements of tasks in the new situation.
In the long-term vision, there needs to be creativity in the way businesses are mobilized to establish grassroots trade unions and develop union members. Grassroots trade union officials must continue to innovate their thinking and working methods, avoid following the beaten path, and be suitable for current development practices," Mr. Hung shared.
