Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang was elected as Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front

On the morning of July 10, the 10th Conference of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) took place in Hanoi.

The conference elected 23 members to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; elected 7 members to the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; elected 6 members to be Vice Presidents of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

According to the Personnel Project of the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2024-2029, the Standing Committee structure is 6 members. Implementing the Project to reorganize and streamline the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, and mass organizations assigned by the Party and the State (central level, provincial and commune levels), approved by the Party Central Committee (Resolution No. 60-NQ/TW dated April 12, 2025), the number of Standing Committees is 9-11 members, of which the Presidium of 5 socio-political organizations is the Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

Based on the above documents, the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front has proposed that the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front adjust the structure of the Standing Committee from 6 to 11 and jointly elected members of the Presidium to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

Accordingly, 100% of the delegates voted to approve the list of Vice Chairmen of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, including:

Ms. Ha Thi Nga - Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Central Trade Unions, former Secretary of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee.

Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang - Member of the Party Central Committee, President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor;

Mr. Luong Quoc Doan - Member of the Party Central Committee, President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union;

Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyen - Member of the Central Committee, President of the Vietnam Women's Union;

Mr. Bui Quang Huy - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, First Secretary of the Central Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.

Senior Lieutenant General Be Xuan Truong - President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Veterans Association.
