Bringing the "0-dong Fair" to 400 poor households in An Giang

On August 28, in Long Dien commune, An Giang province, the Criminal Judgment Enforcement and Judicial Assistance Police Department of the Provincial Police coordinated with Long Dien Commune People's Committee and philanthropists to organize the "0-dong Fair - sharing love, spreading affection" program to support 400 households in difficult circumstances in the commune.

Coming to the "0 VND Fair", people in difficult circumstances in the area received shopping vouchers to buy essential items according to their needs such as: rice, instant noodles, soy sauce, eggs, cooking oil, MSG, milk... The total value of gifts at the fair is estimated at nearly 150 million VND, mobilized from the joint contributions of officers and soldiers of the Criminal Judgment Enforcement and Judicial Assistance Department of the Provincial Police and Phan Thanh Giang Hoffman brick factory sponsoring.

To prepare for the market, officers and soldiers of the Criminal Judgment Enforcement and Judicial Assistance Police Department of the Provincial Police; Long Dien Commune Police and grassroots volunteers enthusiastically participated from the stage of transporting, arranging, and classifying goods at the market. People were very excited to receive meaningful gifts from the "0-dong Market".

Receiving necessities from the "0-dong Fair", Ms. Nguyen Thi Hanh - a resident of Long Dien commune - emotionally shared: "Our people here really appreciate the kindness of the Police force and philanthropists, receiving these full and essential gifts, everyone is extremely warmed and happy. The timely care and help of the government and the police force is a great source of encouragement for my family. I would like to send my sincere thanks and hope that this meaningful program will continue to be maintained and spread more widely to help more people in difficult circumstances.

On this occasion, An Giang Provincial Police also presented 20 meaningful gifts to policy families, people reintegrated into the community in difficult circumstances and forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level in the area.

The program "0 VND Fair - sharing love, spreading affection" is organized with profound humanistic meaning, joining hands for the community, practically contributing to celebrating the 81st anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam People's Police; 81st anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2026) and concretizing the "Three Firsts" emulation movement in the Police force. Thereby, also building a beautiful image of the Police soldier in the hearts of the people.
