Police connect to help people return more than 138 million VND mistakenly transferred
Khanh Hoa - The police agency has connected two people to carry out the return of more than 138 million VND mistakenly transferred to a bank account.
On September 1, news from Dong Ninh Hoa Ward Police said that they had connected two citizens to carry out the return of more than 138 million VND mistakenly transferred to a bank account.
Previously, in July 2026, Mr. Nguyen The Vien (residing in Ninh Thuy 3 TDP, Dong Ninh Hoa ward), came to the Ward Police to report that his bank account suddenly received more than 138 million VND from a strange account.
Through verification, Dong Ninh Hoa Ward Police determined that the above amount was mistakenly transferred by Mr. Vu Dinh Phung (residing in My Lam ward, Tuyen Quang province). Mr. Phung then wished to receive the money back.
On September 1st, Mr. Nguyen The Vien and Mr. Vu Dinh Phung both came to Dong Ninh Hoa Ward Police to carry out the return of the entire amount of money mistakenly transferred.
Dong Ninh Hoa Ward Police praised the honesty and responsibility of the people when proactively coordinating to verify and return a large amount of money that did not belong to them.
