Chairman of Vinh Long Provincial Fatherland Front visits workers at the Trade Union Social Housing project

On July 21, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Long province Kim Ngoc Thai, along with Chairman of Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation Nguyen Phuc Linh and leaders of departments and branches, visited Dong Hai Ben Tre Joint Stock Company, C.P Vietnam Livestock Joint Stock Company - Seafood Feed Production and Business Branch.

This is an activity to celebrate the 97th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2026). The working delegation presented gifts to workers who are wounded soldiers and children of martyrs working at 2 enterprises, encouraging workers to continue to stick with and compete in labor production.

Speaking at the working sessions, Mr. Kim Ngoc Thai acknowledged the important contributions of the business community to economic growth, job creation and social security assurance. Provincial leaders highly appreciated the effective coordination between businesses and trade union organizations in caring for and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers.

Provincial leaders requested businesses to continue to innovate technology, promote digital transformation, develop in a green direction, and improve competitiveness. At the same time, pay more attention to the material and spiritual life of workers; trade union organizations continue to innovate the content and methods of operation, and promote the role of a bridge between businesses and union members.

On this occasion, the working delegation visited and encouraged workers of the Giao Long Trade Union Social Housing project in Giao Long Industrial Park. Provincial leaders requested construction units to ensure quality and construction safety, and soon put the project into use, contributing to meeting the housing needs of union members and workers.
