The Ministry of Health and the Vietnam Health Trade Union strengthen coordination
The Ministry of Health and the Vietnam Health Trade Union strengthen coordination in implementing trade union tasks for the period 2026-2030.
On January 13, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Health, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Health had a working session with the Vietnam Health Trade Union to listen to a report on the results of coordination between the Ministry of Health and the Vietnam Health Trade Union in the past time; deploy tasks in the coming time and ask for the direction of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Health on deploying trade union tasks for the period 2026-2030.
Attending and directing were Ms. Dao Hong Lan - Member of the Party Central Committee, Party Committee Secretary, Minister of Health; Mr. Vu Manh Ha - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Minister of Health; Mr. Pham Minh Khue - full-time Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Health and representatives of the Department of Organization and Personnel, Ministry Office, Office of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Health.
At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Luong Tam - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Chairman of the Vietnam Health Trade Union reported on the results of coordination between the Ministry of Health and the Vietnam Health Trade Union.

Accordingly, in recent times, the Ministry of Health and the Vietnam Health Trade Union have closely coordinated in directing, developing and giving comments on policies and laws related to the legitimate rights and interests of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers in the health sector; effectively implementing grassroots democracy regulations; strengthening inspection and supervision of the implementation of policies, laws, occupational safety and hygiene, gender equality and occupational health care for health workers.
The coordination and implementation of patriotic emulation movements, propaganda, culture - sports, improving professional capacity, developing union members and activities towards borders and islands have also been effectively implemented, creating a wide spread throughout the industry.
Regarding the direction and tasks in the coming time, the Ministry of Health and the Vietnam Health Trade Union, Mr. Nguyen Luong Tam, hopes that the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and the leaders of the Ministry of Health will continue to strengthen coordination and effectively implement key emulation movements, closely follow Resolution 72-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthrough solutions, strengthen protection, care and improve people's health and Resolution 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation...
At the meeting, the Vietnam Health Trade Union proposed signing a new coordination regulation in accordance with the 2025-2030 term and in accordance with tasks in the new situation, contributing to building a sustainable development of the health sector, better caring for health workers and workers.

Also at the meeting, the Standing Committee members, leaders of the Ministry of Health, the Department of Organization and Personnel, and the Office of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Health also agreed to report the results of coordination activities between the Ministry of Health and the Vietnam Health Trade Union for the period 2024-2025 as well as the direction and tasks for implementing trade union activities for the 2025-2030 term. At the same time, it is suggested to implement some appropriate coordination contents in the new situation.
Speaking at the direction and conclusion of the working session, Ms. Dao Hong Lan - Member of the Party Central Committee, Party Committee Secretary, Minister of Health highly appreciated the initiative and acknowledged the results achieved in implementing coordination activities between the Vietnam Health Trade Union and the Ministry of Health in recent times.
The Minister of Health agreed and assigned the units of the Ministry of Health to coordinate with the Vietnam Health Trade Union to develop a coordination program between the Vietnam Health Trade Union and the Ministry of Health for the period 2026-2030.
Ms. Dao Hong Lan noted the need to continue to closely follow the emulation movements launched by the Ministry of Health to respond and implement through specific and practical activities, closely following the political tasks of the industry and requesting care and protection of the medical staff in the new situation, creating a widespread influence throughout the industry.
