Pregnant women and young children club - increases benefits for female union members

On the morning of January 13, at Tan Huong Industrial Park (Tan Huong Commune, Dong Thap Province), the Trade Union of Freeview Industrial Company Limited (Vietnam) organized the first Pregnancy and child-rearing Club with the theme "Caring for children under 6 months old, and how to identify gynecological diseases".

Doctor CK1 Huynh Ngoc Ket - Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Phuong Chau Hospital - shared the content: Cervical cancer is a malicious disease of plaque-shaped cells (scalp mole cells) or cervical mole cells that develop abnormally, leading to the formation of tumors in the cervical uterus.

At the same time, the doctors spent a lot of time for the women to discuss specific cases and participate in gift-giving games when answering the doctor's questions correctly.

It is known that Freeview Industrial Company Limited (Vietnam) has more than 21,950 workers, of which up to 90% are female workers, and 16% of these are pregnant and raising children under 6 years old.

According to Mr. Le Vo Huu Hanh - Chairman of the Trade Union of Freeview Industrial Company Limited (Vietnam) - through the model, the grassroots Trade Union hopes to improve knowledge and health care skills for mother and baby among female union members and employees of the Company, while building a working environment for exchange, sharing, and mutual support, helping female union members and employees balance work and daily life, thereby contributing more to the sustainable development of the Company and the Trade Union organization.

Ms. Huynh Thi Tuyet Vui - President of the Dong Thap Provincial Labor Federation - said that although it was only established in October 2025, through practical activities, the Club has brought positive results, attracting many female pharmacists to join the Club because it meets the desire of female workers to have an environment to share experiences, knowledge, and even difficulties during pregnancy and raising children under 6 years old.

"From the practical activities of the Club, we need to promptly adjust the operating regulations to be closer to the needs and aspirations of female union members and workers. At the same time, it is also necessary to complete to continue to replicate more Club models in 2026 at enterprises inside and outside the Industrial Parks and Clusters with a large number of female workers in the whole province in the coming time," Ms. Vui emphasized.

At the end of the meeting, the Executive Committee of the Company's Trade Union presented gifts to more than 60 members. Each gift of necessities worth more than 500,000 VND is socialized by the Executive Committee of the Trade Union of Freeview Industrial Company Limited (Vietnam).
