100% of female union members registered to participate in the movement of Good at public affairs, good at housework

Currently, the Vietnam Science and Technology Trade Union (VTC) is managing 54 affiliated trade unions with more than 82,650 union members. With the rate of female union members accounting for more than 40% of the total number of union members in the industry, female cadres are always given attention and direction by Party committees at all levels, professional leaders and trade union organizations.

In the 2023-2025 period, the Vietnam Science and Technology Trade Union has done a good job of women's work thanks to trade unions at all levels proactively advising on planning, training, fostering and using female cadres; paying attention to creating resources, developing female party members, sending female cadres to participate in professional training courses, political theory and management skills. Many women have matured through the movement, being trusted and appointed to leadership and management positions. In particular, 100% of agencies and units with 50% or more female employees have female key leaders recommended by the union.

Regimes and policies for female workers such as: Intensive health check-ups, maternity leave, reduced working hours during pregnancy or raising young children, supporting childcare costs for female workers... are fully implemented. In particular, trade unions play an important role in coordinating with professionals in the process of arranging and streamlining the apparatus and restructuring units related to female workers, civil servants and laborers. 100% of female union members registered to participate in the movement "Good at public affairs, good at home affairs". Emulation movements among female workers, civil servants, and laborers are suitable for the specific occupations of each unit.

In addition, trade unions at all levels under the Vietnam Science and Technology Trade Union also proactively and flexibly organize activities to care for female union members on the occasion of International Women's Day March 8, Vietnamese Women's Day October 20, family day...
