Mobilizing the establishment of grassroots trade unions in 70% of enterprises with 20 or more employees
HCMC - The Tan Thuan Ward Trade Union Conference set a goal of establishing grassroots trade unions in 70% of enterprises with 20 or more employees.
The Tan Thuan Ward Trade Union, Ho Chi Minh City has just held the 1st Trade Union Delegation Conference for the 2025 - 2030 term.
The report at the conference said that the ward union currently manages 137 grassroots unions and 3 unions with a total of 8,710 union members. Since its establishment, Tan Thuan Ward Trade Union has supported local trade unions in changing union seals, guiding the change of union executive committees and trade union finance work, and mediating 3 cases related to workers' salaries with business owners.

The conference also voted that in the 2025 - 2030 term, it will promote the establishment of grassroots trade unions in 70% of enterprises with 20 or more employees, admit at least 500 union members, provide legal advice and support to 100% of union members and employees upon request, and coordinate with grassroots trade unions to implement at least 5 "Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space" projects in the ward...
At the conference, the Tan Thuan Ward Trade Union launched a movement to support people in provinces affected by storm No. 10 and the Cuban people with more than 12.3 million VND.
