Believing in Trade Union innovation, accompanying workers in the digital age

Mr. Vo Thanh Tuan, a member of the grassroots Trade Union of YMUV Co., Ltd. (Tan Huong Industrial Park), expressed his belief that the 14th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union, term 2026 - 2031, will open a new development path for the Trade Union organization. Mr. Tuan shared his expectations:

As a member of the grassroots Trade Union in a business in Tan Huong Industrial Park, I and the workers are extremely happy and excited about the success of the 14th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union, term 2026 - 2031. This is an important political event of the working class and the Vietnam Trade Union organization, showing the determination to strongly innovate to meet the requirements of national development in the new period.

Following the results of the Congress, we clearly feel the spirit of responsibility, the aspiration for innovation and the companionship of the Trade Union organization with workers. The action motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development" is not only the slogan of the Congress but also expresses the determination to build a strong and modern Trade Union organization, truly a reliable support for union members and workers.

What we are particularly interested in and agree with is that the goals and tasks identified by the Congress all stem from the practical needs of workers. The contents on improving the quality of trade union activities, strengthening the protection of legitimate rights and interests, and caring for the material and spiritual lives of union members have shown understanding of the difficulties and concerns of workers today.

Notably, the Congress's determination to promote dialogue, collective bargaining, improve the working environment, support housing, and improve welfare for workers are very practical policies. These are all issues that workers are concerned about and want to be resolved to feel secure in long-term attachment to the business.

In addition, the orientation to promote digital transformation in trade union activities and launching the emulation movement "Good Labor, High Productivity, Good Income" also creates great motivation for workers. In the context of the strong industrial revolution and digital transformation, workers not only need skills but also must actively learn, improve skills, and adapt to new technologies to improve labor productivity and increase income.

From the reality at the enterprise, we expect that in the new term, the Trade Union organization will continue to promote its role as a bridge between workers and businesses and functional agencies; regularly listen to the thoughts and aspirations of union members; promptly support and protect the legitimate rights and interests of workers.

At the same time, the Trade Union needs to continue to expand welfare programs, care for spiritual and cultural life, and create more useful playgrounds for workers to have conditions to exchange, practice health and improve the quality of life.

Responding to the spirit of the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress, I myself and the workers in the industrial parks of Dong Thap province are determined to continue to promote the tradition of solidarity, diligence, and creativity of the Vietnamese working class. We will actively study to improve professional qualifications, practice professional skills, proactively apply science and technology to production; well comply with laws, labor discipline and actively participate in emulation movements launched by the Trade Union.

We believe that, with the correct policies adopted at the 14th Congress, the Vietnam Trade Union organization will continue to innovate strongly, operate more effectively, and better meet the needs and aspirations of union members and workers. From there, contributing to building a modern and strong Vietnamese working class, actively contributing to the rapid and sustainable development of the country in the period of integration and digital transformation.
