14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress discusses the Personnel Project of the 14th Executive Committee
On the afternoon of June 4, 2026, at the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress, the Presidium of the Congress reported on the results of the discussion on the Personnel Project of the Executive Committee of the 14th Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, term 2026 - 2031.
Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - Member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the 13th Vietnam General Confederation of Labor - on behalf of the Presidium of the Congress presented a report on the results of the discussion of the Personnel Project of the 14th Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Executive Committee and the list of personnel introduced by the 13th Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Executive Committee.
According to Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, the Personnel Project of the 14th Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Executive Committee prepared by the 13th Executive Committee. Through discussion, delegates basically highly agreed with the draft personnel project.
Delegates unanimously agreed on the standards and conditions for personnel introduced to participate in the Executive Committee of the 14th Vietnam General Confederation of Labor for the term 2026 - 2031. Delegates unanimously agreed with the number and structure of the Executive Committee of the 14th Vietnam General Confederation of Labor for the term 2026 - 2031.
In which, the delegates agreed on the number of members of the 14th Executive Committee being 145. Unified the structure of the 14th Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Executive Committee mentioned in the project includes 12 types of structures.
Regarding the number and structure of the Executive Committee of the 14th Vietnam General Confederation of Labor expected to be elected at the Congress, delegates all agreed as follows: the number elected at the 14th Congress of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor is 135 members, 10 missing members will be consolidated during the term when personnel meet the standards and conditions according to regulations.
Agreeing with the number introduced at the Congress being 150 people, electing 135 members, ensuring that the nomination list has a surplus of more than 11%, meeting the requirements according to regulations and the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union.
Delegations organized a study of the list of personnel introduced to the Executive Committee of the 14th Vietnam General Confederation of Labor prepared by the Executive Committee of the 13th Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
