A resident in Phu Tho returned 50 million VND that had been transferred by mistake
Phu Tho - Kim Boi Commune Police have just supported a resident to receive 50 million VND back for an incorrect transfer.
On September 4, Kim Boi Commune Police said that after receiving the report and coordinating with the bank to verify, the unit had supported a resident to receive 50 million VND back due to incorrect transfer,
Previously, on the afternoon of September 3, Ms. Bui Thi Hoa, born in 1990 (residing in Doi 1 hamlet, Kim Boi commune) suddenly received 50 million VND transferred to her account from some strangers. Of unknown origin, she proactively reported to the commune police.
After receiving the information, Kim Boi Police quickly verified and clarified that the person who transferred the money by mistake was Ms. Bui Thanh Huyen, born in 1976 (residing in Vo Khang hamlet, Kim Boi commune) and completed the procedures for Ms. Hoa to return the money.
Receiving 50 million VND back, Ms. Huyen was moved to thank Ms. Hoa for her honesty and timely support from the police force.
The police recommend that when receiving money mistakenly transferred from strangers, people need to report immediately to be supported and prevent fraud tricks.
