Hon Gai Mechanical ensures jobs and income for workers
Quang Ninh - On the afternoon of January 9, Hon Gai Mechanical Company - Vinacomin held a conference to summarize production and business activities in 2025, and a conference for workers in 2026.
The conference was attended by Mr. Bui Van Ngoi - Head of the Propaganda Department of the Quang Ninh Coal Party Committee; Ms. Do Thi Le Quyen - Chairwoman of the Hong Gai Ward Trade Union, along with leaders and 136 officers, workers and employees of Hon Gai - Vinacomin Mechanical Company.
In 2025, the Company's Trade Union successfully organized the 4th Trade Union Congress, term 2025-2030, with 5 members of the Executive Committee and 3 members of the Inspection Committee. Currently, the Company's Trade Union has 141 union members.
The company has fully implemented the regimes and policies for employees according to State regulations; ensured stable employment; fully participated in social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance. Average income in 2025 will reach 13.092 million VND/person/month, equal to 123.7% of the plan.
Movements to compete in production labor, promote initiatives, and improve techniques have been promoted, contributing to improving productivity, saving costs, and limiting overtime.
The company focuses on improving working conditions and environment; strictly implementing labor regulations, Collective Labor Agreements and Grassroots Democracy Regulations.
Toxic nutrition and health care regimes, especially during hot weather and long-term construction trips, are being implemented with attention.
In 2025, the company will fully implement the salary and bonus regime; support employees on holidays and Tet such as Lunar New Year, April 30 - 1.5; organize activities to celebrate International Women's Day March 8, Traditional Day of Miners. In particular, the 65th Anniversary of the Company's Founding Day (August 1, 1960 - August 1, 2025) was solemnly held, creating a good impression.
The company also organizes visits and subsidies for those in difficulty; promptly rewards outstanding collectives and individuals; organizes 2 tours and tours in Tuyen Quang province for workers with many contributions to production and business.
Speaking at the conference, Ms. Do Thi Le Quyen - Chairwoman of Hong Gai Ward Trade Union - acknowledged and praised the results achieved by the Company's Trade Union in 2025. Request the Trade Union to continue reviewing and supplementing collective labor agreements in a more beneficial direction for employees; innovating methods of operation; enhancing dialogue between employees and employers; effectively implementing models such as "Union Meal", "Union Flower Garden".
Ms. Quyen also suggested that the company pay attention to implementing Decree 293/2025/ND-CP on the regulation of the minimum wage from January 1, 2026; taking care of Tet for workers; launching a movement to compete for pioneering enterprises to develop green and sustainably, contributing to the goal of making Quang Ninh a centrally-run city before 2030.
On this occasion, the Company's Trade Union and 2 individuals of the company were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Provincial Labor Federation; 1 individual was awarded Certificates of Merit by the Hong Gai Ward People's Committee; many collectives and individuals were commended and rewarded by the Company.
The conference agreed to approve the Resolution of the Workers' Conference with the production and business plan for 2026, including the following targets: total revenue of 186 billion VND; pre-tax profit of 4,106 billion VND.
