Quang Ninh Trade Union lends poor workers more than 8.5 billion VND to develop the economy

According to the Quang Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor, in 2025, the workers, civil servants, and laborers (CNVCLD) movement and trade union activities in Quang Ninh province will continue to achieve many positive results, contributing to stabilizing labor relations, caring for the lives and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers.

In the context of a part of enterprises still facing difficulties, especially in the non-state sector, the production and business situation in the province is generally stable; jobs and incomes of workers are basically guaranteed. The average salary at private enterprises reached 7.2 million VND/person/month, FDI enterprises reached 9.1 million VND/person/month. During the year, there were no collective labor disputes or strikes in the province.

Activities to care for union members and workers have received special attention from trade unions at all levels, especially during the Lunar New Year 2025. The whole province visited and presented gifts to 68,475 employees with a total cost of over 53.6 billion VND. The Provincial Federation of Labor alone presented 13,000 Tet gifts with a total value of more than 9 billion VND; organized the program "Union Tet Market - Tet Sum Vay", supporting thousands of workers in difficult circumstances.

The Quang Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor issued a decision to give gifts to 362 workers in especially difficult circumstances in labor and production during the Workers' Month in 2025. The direct superior trade unions at the grassroots level have mobilized social support to provide funding to build "Union Shelter" houses for 11 families of workers in difficult circumstances with an amount of 720 million VND. Fund for Poor Workers The Provincial Federation of Labor has disbursed loans to 339 workers with a total amount of 8.59 billion VND.

In 2025, trade unions at all levels actively participated in giving comments on 10 draft laws and 147 draft legal documents directly related to union members and workers; organized many activities to propagate, disseminate laws and mobile legal consultation. Dialogue work at the workplace has been promoted with 210 dialogue programs, attracting more than 8,500 employees to participate.

The emulation movement for good workers and creative workers continues to spread widely. Employees in the whole province have over 3,000 recognized initiatives and solutions, bringing a profit value of over 45 billion VND; 140 emulation works and products have a profit value of over 8 billion VND. In 2025, the whole province will establish 67 new grassroots unions with 10,627 union members, bringing the total number of union members to 112,682 people.

Entering 2026 - a year of special significance for the organization of the 14th National Party Congress and the election of National Assembly deputies, People's Councils at all levels - all levels of Quang Ninh Trade Union - identified the action theme as "Promoting innovation; concretizing and putting into practice the Resolution of the Party Congress, the Fatherland Front, and the Trade Union".

The focus is on continuing to perform well the function of representing and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers; promoting welfare, employment, and income, especially during the Lunar New Year 2026; strengthening dialogue and collective bargaining; developing union members, establishing grassroots unions; innovating propaganda work, emulation, and improving the effectiveness of trade union activities in the new situation.
