More than 50 environmental workers in Quang Ninh receive training on the Trade Union Law

Quang Ninh - The Provincial Federation of Labor has just coordinated to organize a training conference on the Trade Union Law and the Grassroots Democracy Regulations for more than 50 environmental workers in Mong Cai 1 ward.

The conference was attended by Ms. Dang Thi Kim Chung - Vice President of the Provincial Federation of Labor, Mr. Tran Huu Thanh, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Mong Cai 1 Ward Trade Union and more than 50 officers, workers, and laborers of Mong Cai Urban Environment and Construction Company.

At the conference, Ms. Dang Thi Kim Chung directly conveyed the basic contents and important new points of the 2024 Trade Union Law.

The 2024 Trade Union Law takes effect from July 1, 2025. The law has many outstanding new points such as expanding the right to establish, join and operate trade unions for workers without labor relations.

Regulate the right to join the Vietnam Trade Union of organizations and employees at enterprises; concretize the rights and responsibilities of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and employees.
