More than 50 environmental workers in Quang Ninh receive training on the Trade Union Law

The conference was attended by Ms. Dang Thi Kim Chung - Vice President of the Provincial Federation of Labor, Mr. Tran Huu Thanh, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Mong Cai 1 Ward Trade Union and more than 50 officers, workers, and laborers of Mong Cai Urban Environment and Construction Company.

At the conference, Ms. Dang Thi Kim Chung directly conveyed the basic contents and important new points of the 2024 Trade Union Law.

The 2024 Trade Union Law takes effect from July 1, 2025. The law has many outstanding new points such as expanding the right to establish, join and operate trade unions for workers without labor relations.

Regulate the right to join the Vietnam Trade Union of organizations and employees at enterprises; concretize the rights and responsibilities of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and employees.

At the conference, delegates also discussed and answered practical issues that union members and workers are interested in during their activities at grassroots trade unions.

This is a practical activity to improve the quality of trade union activities, build harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations in enterprises, thereby affirming the role of trade unions in accompanying, caring for, protecting workers' rights, contributing to socio-economic development and ensuring social security in the area.
