Quang Ninh trains collective bargaining skills for trade union officials in Quang Yen

Quang Ninh The Provincial Federation of Labor has just organized a training and fostering conference to improve the skills of organizing dialogues and collective bargaining for grassroots union officials.

The conference was attended by Ms. Dang Thi Kim Chung, Vice President of the Provincial Federation of Labor; Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Nga, Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, President of the Quang Yen Trade Union, and more than 65 delegates who are grassroots trade union officials in the area.

At the conference, delegates listened to core contents on dialogue skills at enterprises; legal regulations on collective bargaining and collective labor agreements.

Guidelines for evaluating and classifying collective labor agreements; methods for determining, developing content and procedures for conducting effective collective bargaining.

In Quang Yen ward, in 2025, the locality has had 8/9 newly established grassroots unions sign a new Collective Labor Agreement.

There are 12 units in the area that have built collective labor agreements with more beneficial provisions for employees than those prescribed by law, such as: financial support from VND24 million/person or opening foreign language training classes for employees; supporting funding or organizing group tours at VND500,000700,000/person; raising the shift meal to VND25,00035,000/person/meal.

The training course aims to enhance dialogue and negotiation skills; strengthen the representative role of the Trade Union; improve salary, bonus, working hours - rest, shift meals, labor safety, etc., thereby ensuring jobs and promoting business development.
