Awarding handwriting for reading to learn English and scholarships to children of union members in difficult circumstances

On July 11, the Quang Tri Provincial Labor Federation said that the Dong Hoi Regional Cluster organized the awarding of English reading marks and scholarships to children of union members and workers in difficult circumstances at grassroots trade unions: Dong Hoi Park - Green Tree Center, Quang Binh Urban Environment and Development Joint Stock Company and VinFast Quang Binh.

The program aims to add motivation for union members' children to overcome difficulties and rise up in their studies, and at the same time share difficulties with union members' and workers' families before the new school year.

Comrade Luong Phu Cuong, Head of Dong Hoi Regional Cluster, said that the gifts not only have the meaning of spiritual encouragement but also help children have conditions to access modern English learning methods through reading markers, contributing to improving foreign language skills and creating excitement in learning. The activity also shows the concern and companionship of the trade union organization towards union member and employee families.

The activity is part of a series of programs in response to the Action Month for Children in 2026, contributing to practical care for children of union members and workers. Thereby, creating motivation for children to strive to study, and at the same time helping union members and workers feel secure in working, producing and long-term attachment to agencies, units, and businesses.
