Hue workers supported with "Trade Union Shelter" houses
HUE - Hue City launches Workers' Month 2026, provides housing support and promotes labor safety for workers.
On April 29, at Hanesbrands Vietnam - Hue Co., Ltd., Hue City People's Committee coordinated with Hue City Labor Federation to organize a launching ceremony to respond to the Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) and Workers' Month 2026.
At the ceremony, delegates listened to reports on the results of OSH work and Workers' Month 2025, and at the same time deployed tasks for 2026. Leaders of the City People's Committee emphasized the requirement to raise awareness and responsibility of all levels, sectors, businesses and workers in complying with OSH regulations; promote innovation in management, apply digital transformation to prevent and control risks, and build a safe and sustainable working environment.

On this occasion, the Organizing Committee awarded certificates of merit from the Chairman of Hue City People's Committee to 6 collectives and 3 individuals with outstanding achievements in OSH work in 2025; supported the construction and repair of 4 "Trade Union Shelter" houses with a total budget of 205 million VND for union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
The program officially launched the Action Month on OSH and Workers' Month 2026 with the theme: "Innovating management and improving the efficiency of occupational safety and health in the digital age".
After the launching ceremony, the working delegation visited the families of union members who had labor accidents and were in difficult circumstances and surveyed production activities at Hanesbrands Vietnam - Hue Co., Ltd.
