Inauguration of Trade Union Shelter for workers in difficult circumstances in Thai Nguyen

Attending the ceremony were Ms. Tran Thi Hong Thai - Vice President of Thai Nguyen Provincial Labor Federation; leaders of Zone IV Trade Union, Bac Kan Mineral Joint Stock Company, Party committees, local authorities and a large number of trade union officials, union members and people.

At the program, delegates presented meaningful gifts, shared and encouraged union member families to overcome difficulties.

Union member To Thi Que is in particularly difficult circumstances, her husband died in a work accident, she alone raises two children to study, her income is still limited, and her old house has seriously deteriorated.

From the support of 60 million VND from the Trade Union Warm House Fund and the help of family, relatives and loans, a new house with a total cost of over 500 million VND has been completed, helping the family have a stable place to live.

This is a practical activity towards the 97th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union. From there, it shows the concern and care of the trade union organization for union members and workers in difficult housing circumstances.

On the same day, the Thai Nguyen Provincial Labor Federation coordinated with Ngoc Linh Co., Ltd. Branch to organize the "Trade Union Meal" program for workers.

Each meal is worth 50,000 VND, of which businesses support 40,000 VND, and grassroots trade union funds support 10,000 VND.

The Provincial Labor Federation supported an additional 20,000 VND/portion, including 1 can of ginseng water and 01 box of yogurt, for 100 meals, contributing to improving the quality of workers' shift meals.
