Connecting workers through "Trade Union Meals" at Ha Quang Garment Enterprise

On May 16, the Quang Tri Provincial Labor Federation said that the Trade Union of Ha Quang Garment Enterprise has organized many practical activities to respond to Workers' Month and Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health in 2026, caring for and connecting union members and workers.

The highlight of the program is the "Trade Union Meal" activity with nearly 1,000 meals carefully prepared for workers. Each meal is worth 40,000 VND, higher than the daily meal allowance, showing the practical concern of the trade union organization for meals and the health of union members and workers.

In the warm and sharing atmosphere of the program, leaders of the Provincial Labor Federation presented 6 gifts to workers suffering from critical illnesses, each worth 2 million VND. The enterprise's Trade Union also presented 8 gifts to workers suffering from critical illnesses and in difficult circumstances to encourage union members to overcome difficulties and feel secure in working and producing.

In addition to care work, the Trade Union of Ha Quang Garment Enterprise organized a ceremony to admit 10 workers to the Vietnam Trade Union organization. The admission of new union members contributes to expanding the trade union organization at enterprises, improving the effectiveness of representing, caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers.

Along with that, the grassroots trade union introduced 10 outstanding union members to the Party organization for consideration, fostering and admission, contributing to creating a source of Party member development among workers.

Speaking at the program, Mr. Phan Thanh Lan, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation, acknowledged and praised the results of the grassroots trade union of Ha Quang Garment Enterprise in caring for the lives of union members and workers. At the same time, he requested the grassroots trade union to continue to innovate the content and methods of operation; pay attention to good implementation of occupational safety and health; care for the health and lives of workers; build a safe, stable and sustainable working environment.

On this occasion, the Trade Union of Ha Quang Garment Enterprise also launched a labor production emulation movement to celebrate the 80th anniversary of May 10's tradition and towards the 97th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union.

Through a series of activities to respond to Workers' Month and Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health in 2026, the Trade Union of Ha Quang Garment Enterprise continues to affirm its role in accompanying, caring for and protecting the rights of union members and workers; contributing to building harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relations in enterprises.
