Vinh Long Trade Union visits 12 businesses, presents 1,200 gifts to union members

According to the weekly work plan from July 13 - 18, Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation focuses on preparing a series of activities towards the 97th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2026).

The highlight of the series of activities is organizing a working delegation to visit 12 businesses, giving 1,200 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances, contributing to encouraging, sharing and spreading the concern of the Trade Union organization.

Along with that, the Provincial Labor Federation will organize meetings with trade union officials through periods; launch the emulation movement "Good labor, high productivity, good income" for the period 2026 - 2031 and deploy the business development movement.

During the week, the Executive Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation also organized a conference to summarize the Trade Union activities in the first 6 months of 2026, summarize Workers' Month, Action Month on occupational safety and health and summarize 5 years of implementing the programs and resolutions of the Party and the General Confederation.

In addition, the unit submitted to the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor for consideration and awarding the Creative Labor Certificate in 2025 to 40 union members and workers; considering the Medal "For the cause of building the Vietnam Trade Union organization" and implementing propaganda plans on drug prevention and control among workers.
