Da Nang propagates security and order for members of Grab Technology Drivers Union

Minimize risks in the labor process

News from the Da Nang City Labor Federation on June 27 said: The Da Nang City Labor Federation organized a conference to award accident insurance and propagate security and order work for members of the Grab Technology Drivers Union.

The program is a practical activity within the 2026 work plan of the City Labor Federation, aimed at taking care of the lives of union members and workers and raising legal awareness in this special labor force.

Attending the conference were Mr. Le Van Dai - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Standing Vice Chairman of the Da Nang City Labor Federation; representatives of professional departments of the City Labor Federation; Lieutenant Colonel Le Nga - Deputy Head of the City Police Staff Department; Executive Committee of Grab Technology Drivers and more than 200 union members.

Speaking at the opening of the conference, Mr. Le Van Dai emphasized that in recent years, the City Labor Federation has always paid attention to implementing many activities to care for and support union members and workers, especially informal sector workers.

The awarding of accident insurance to members of the Grab Technology Drivers' Union not only shows the companionship of the Trade Union organization with employees but also contributes to supporting union members to minimize risks in the working process, creating more motivation to feel secure in working, bringing income, and improving their lives and their families.

Crime prevention skills guide

At the program, the City Labor Federation awarded 203 accident insurance cards to members of the Grab Technology Drivers Union, with a total budget of nearly 25 million VND.

Along with care activities, the conference also organized propaganda on security and order work to raise awareness and legal compliance for union members.

Here, Lieutenant Colonel Le Nga informed about the security and order situation in the area, methods and tricks of current types of crimes; and at the same time guided preventive measures, situation handling skills and raised the sense of responsibility of each union member in maintaining security and order, and social safety.

Through the conference, Grab Technology Drivers Union members not only benefit from practical care policies from the Trade Union organization but are also equipped with necessary knowledge about law and security and order assurance work.

This is a practical activity, contributing to building a team of union members with awareness of law compliance, improving professional responsibility, and at the same time affirming the role of the Trade Union organization in accompanying, protecting and caring for the rights of workers" - Mr. Le Van Dai said.
