Yen Bai and Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee Office discusses merger plan

Implementing Resolution No. 18 of the 12th Central Executive Committee on continuing to innovate and streamline the apparatus to operate effectively and efficiently, the two Offices have seriously implemented the development of the Project, conducted the arrangement of the apparatus, and combined with staff streamlining to ensure effective operation.

At the Conference, the Office of Lao Cai and Yen Bai Provincial Party Committees shared initial results in reviewing and assessing the current status of the organizational apparatus of the two agencies; giving comments on the plan to develop a merger project.

Delegates also contributed opinions on the organization of the apparatus within each professional department after the merger; proposed a plan to arrange the staff and civil servants to ensure stability in organization, without major disruptions in professional activities; arranged working and accommodation conditions for civil servants from Lao Cai to Yen Bai to work...

At the end of the working session, the leaders of the two Offices agreed on the completion of the draft Merger Project to send to the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee for synthesis and submission for comments to the Standing Committee and the Standing Committees of the Provincial Party Committee of the two provinces.

The two sides also agreed to commit to continue exchanging information and closely coordinating in the process of implementing the next steps, ensuring progress, quality and suitability with the actual situation of each locality.
