Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy announces enrollment plan for 2025

In 2025, Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy plans to recruit more than 2,500 students according to 4 admission methods.

Method 1: Considering the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam.

Method 2: Consider combining the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam with an international certificate for admission.

Candidates register for admission based on the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam. Candidates with international certificates will be given points according to the school's regulations for all training majors.

The bonus points will only be calculated when candidates submit a certified copy of the international certificate (I IELTS/ TOEFL iBT, SAT) in accordance with the conditions for the threshold for accumulated points and at the time specified in the school's admission notice.

Method 3: Direct admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training's admission regulations.

Method 4: Considering university transfer candidates from Ho Chi Minh City University Reserve School; Nha Trang National University Reserve School.

Expected enrollment targets for majors are as follows:

Regarding the admission combination, the majors of Medicine, Dentistry, Traditional Medicine consider admission for the B00 combination (Math, Chemistry, Biology).

Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Nursing, Nursing major in anesthesia and resuscitation, Midwifery, Dental prosthetics, Medical Testing Technology, Medical Imaging Technology, Rehabilitation Technology, Nutrition, Public Health, Preventive Medicine consider the two combinations B00 (Math, Chemistry, Biology) and A00 (Math, Chemistry, Chemistry).

The Social Work major is open for admission in 4 groups: B00 (Math, Chemistry, Biology), A00 (Math, Physics, Chemistry), B03 (Math, Biology, Literature), B08 (Math, Biology, English). From 2026, the school will not use the A00 combination for admission to the social work major.

The school noted that the groups are considered for admission together, without regulation on the difference between groups.

For majors that use admission combinations with English subjects, candidates are required to take the English high school graduation exam. Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy does not convert the foreign language certificate used to exempt from the high school graduation exam into the foreign language score for admission.
