Summary of military cultural, literary and artistic activities, and journalism

At the conference, delegates agreed with the assessment that key activities on culture, literature and art, and journalism of the Army in the 2021-2025 period were implemented synchronously by agencies and units in the entire army, in accordance with the correct orientation, goals and requirements set out and achieved good results, spreading, creating a strong impression in the social life and cultural and spiritual life of the army.

Cultural and artistic activities have many innovations, richness and creativity; creating and promoting a large number of literary and artistic works, journalism with quality content, ideas and art; cultural institutions at all levels have exploited their good functions and promoted effectively.

Concluding the conference, Lieutenant General Truong Thien To - Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army (VPA), Head of the Steering Committee for key activities in culture, literature and art, and military press for the period 2021-2025, affirmed that the key activities in culture, literature and art, and military press in the past period have been refined, preserved, and passed on the most fundamental features, most typical qualities, images, and images of Uncle Ho's soldiers in the struggles for national independence, national defense, in performing noble international duties as well as in the period of national construction and development.

Literary and artistic works on the theme of armed forces, revolutionary war, and military press works in key activities have contributed to improving the cultural and spiritual life of the army, educating, fostering, and building trust and courage for officers and soldiers, especially the younger generation;

At the same time, it contributes to consolidating, building and developing defense foreign affairs activities, fighting to protect the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against erroneous and hostile viewpoints, and maintaining the Party's ideological position in the Army.

On this occasion, the Minister of National Defense and the Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army decided to award certificates of merit to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in organizing key activities in culture, literature, art, and military press in the period of 2021-2025 and in mobilizing composition and promotion on the theme of armed forces and revolutionary war in the period of 2021-2025.
