On the afternoon of April 14, after a solemn welcoming ceremony, General Secretary To Lam and General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping held talks at the Party Central Committee Headquarters.
The General Secretary and President of China is on his fourth state visit to Vietnam at the invitation of General Secretary To Lam and Politburo member and President Luong Cuong.
Before the talks, General Secretary To Lam presided over the solemn welcoming ceremony for General Secretary and President Xi Jinping at the Presidential Palace.
At noon on April 14, President Luong Cuong went to Noi Bai International Airport to welcome General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping and the high-ranking Chinese delegation.
The visit of General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping took place in the context of 2025 being a special year, commemorating the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries (18.1.1950 - 18.1.2025).
This visit contributes to promoting and deepening the framework of the Vietnam - China Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership, the Vietnam - China Community of Shared Future has strategic significance, bringing the development of the two countries to a new height.
