General Secretary: Efficiency in serving the people is a measure of leadership capacity, prestige, and honor

On the afternoon of January 23, at the National Convention Center (Hanoi), the 14th National Congress of the Party (14th National Party Congress) held its closing session.

At the closing session, the 14th Party Central Committee accepted the assignment, and the members of the Party Central Committee launched the Congress.

On behalf of the 14th Central Executive Committee, General Secretary To Lam expressed his deep gratitude and trust in the 14th Congress. This is a great honor and responsibility before the Party and the people.

"We will strive our best, wholeheartedly and wholeheartedly to serve the noble cause of the Party, the revolution and the people.

In front of the entire Congress, the 14th Central Executive Committee affirmed its absolute allegiance to the Party's goals and ideals, putting the interests of the nation and people above all, first of all, maintaining independence, self-reliance, resolutely protecting the Fatherland and the People, General Secretary To Lam emphasized.

The 14th Central Executive Committee will work with the spirit of setting the highest example, speaking in combination with doing, doing to the end, working for the people, must do it immediately, doing the right thing, doing well with leadership and organization capacity.

The effectiveness of serving the people is a measure of the leadership capacity, prestige and honor of each member of the 14th Party Central Committee.

The 14th Central Executive Committee continues to persistently build and rectify the Party to be clean and strong, maintain the highest solidarity in the Party, strengthen Party discipline, national order, perfect the power control mechanism, resolutely prevent corruption, waste and negativity, practice thrift, and combat ostentation and formality.

Do a good job of cadreship, assign the right person, assign the right job, evaluate with products, promote people with virtue, talent, and daring to do. Remove from the system of people who have opportunities, avoid responsibility, say no and do...

The 14th Central Executive Committee expressed its deep gratitude to the 13th Central Committee members who were not re-elected, especially the key leaders, Politburo members, and Secretariat members.

The comrades have devoted their intelligence, enthusiasm, and courage, strengthened solidarity, fostered trust, and led the entire Party, people, and army to successfully complete the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress.

We hope that you will continue to pay attention, give your opinions frankly and constructively, continue to pass on experiences to the next generation, continue to join hands for the revolutionary cause of the Party and the people. The companionship of comrades is a great source of spiritual encouragement for the 14th Central Executive Committee to complete its tasks in the new term, said General Secretary To Lam.

According to the General Secretary, the road ahead has many big tasks, requiring high determination, strict discipline, and continuous efforts.
