According to the General Secretary and President of China, 2025 is a year of special significance for Vietnam, marking the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam (now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam) and the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day.

Under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the Vietnamese people are making progress, realizing the two 100-year goals of the Party and the country.

People's lives are constantly improving, their international and regional position is increasingly consolidated, the industrialization and modernization of socialism has achieved many encouraging achievements.

"China is sincerely happy with those achievements. This year, the two countries celebrate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations and also the China - Vietnam Humanitarian Exchange Year 2025, creating new opportunities to promote the building of the China - Vietnam Community of Shared Future.
