Replacing low-respected officials, not waiting for the end of their term

Politburo member and Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu emphasized the above requirement at the National Conference summarizing the work of Party organization and building in 2025 and deploying tasks for 2026, according to VNA.

The conference was organized by the Central Organizing Committee on December 8 at the Central Party Headquarters, connecting online to 40 provincial/ some city party committees, party committees and 2,085 commune and ward-level bridge points.

Advising on reviewing and streamlining internal organizations of agencies

Speaking at the conference, Politburo member and Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu acknowledged, highly appreciated and commended the results achieved by the Party building organization sector in 2025 and since the beginning of the term.

Regarding the tasks in the coming time, Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu suggested that the Party Organization and Construction sector focus on advising on personnel preparation and necessary conditions to successfully organize the 14th National Party Congress.

Coordinate the preparation for the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026-2031 term, creating an important premise for building and perfecting the State apparatus, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress right from the first year of the new term.

The Standing Secretariat requested to focus on completing and effectively organizing the implementation of the new organizational model. In particular, urgently advise on reviewing, supplementing and perfecting institutions, functions and tasks of agencies, units and organizations in the political system to ensure smooth and synchronous operations.

Promote administrative reform to ensure efficiency, in line with the two-level local government model; strengthen inspection, supervision, timely detection and resolution of difficulties, problems and newly arising problems.

Along with that, continue to advise on the arrangement of the apparatus, focusing on reviewing and streamlining the organizations inside the agencies and units of the political system to ensure effective, efficient, efficient, smooth operation, best serving the people and society, meeting the requirements of national development in the new period.

Cadre work "in and out", "up and down"

The Standing Secretariat requested the Party building organization sector to advise on timely, effective and synchronous implementation of institutions on personnel work; in particular, focus on strictly implementing newly issued regulations, especially in the assessment, training and use of cadres, ensuring democracy, publicity, impartiality and objectivity in accordance with the "in and out" policy, "up and down" in personnel work.

Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu emphasized the requirement to effectively implement the policy of encouraging and protecting dynamic and creative cadres who dare to think, dare to do, dare to take responsibility for the common good. Pay attention to discovering, training, fostering and promoting talents, attaching importance to building a team of scientific and technical staff, female staff, young staff, ethnic minority staff, state-owned enterprise management staff, strategic staff and grassroots staff.

Increase staff for disadvantaged areas and key sectors. Timely replace, remove, and dismiss irresponsible, unprestigious, and weak cadres in capacity and performance without waiting for the end of their term or appointment term.

Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Committee Le Minh Hung affirmed that the tasks assigned by the Standing Committee of the Secretariat are not only requirements for 2026 but also strategic orientations for the entire coming term.

The Party building organization sector hopes to continue to receive the attention and direction of the Central Executive Committee, the Politburo, the Secretariat, the General Secretary and the Standing Committee of the Secretariat to help the Party building organization and the political system achieve more comprehensive results, contributing to improving the Party's leadership capacity and fighting strength, better meeting the requirements and tasks of national development in the new period.

On this occasion, the Central Organizing Committee awarded Emulation Flags to 5 collectives, Certificates of Merit to 13 collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in 2025.
