Expected names of 34 communes and wards in Phu Yen
Phu Yen - After rearranging administrative units, Phu Yen province is expected to have 34 communes and wards.
According to the draft plan to reorganize commune-level administrative units of Phu Yen province in 2025, this province will have 34 commune-level administrative units (including 27 communes, 7 wards), reducing 72 commune-level administrative units, in accordance with the Central regulations (a reduction of about 60 - 70%).
Expected 34 commune-level administrative units, including:
1. Establish Tuy Hoa ward on the basis of merging Wards 1, 2, 4, 5, 7; neighborhoods of Ward 9 (Ninh Tinh 2, part of Ninh Tinh 3; Ninh Tinh 4, Ninh Tinh 5. part of Ninh Tinh 6; part of Phuoc Hau 2).
After the arrangement, the working headquarters of the Party and mass organizations will be at the headquarters of the Tuy Hoa City Party Committee. The Government Department works at the headquarters of Tuy Hoa City People's Committee.
2. Establish Phu Lam ward on the basis of merging Phu Dong, Phu Lam, Phu Thanh wards; Hoa Thanh commune (Dong Hoa town) and part of Uat Lam quarter (Hoa Hiep Bac ward, Dong Hoa town). The working headquarters of the Party and mass organizations at the headquarters of the People's Committee of Phu Thanh Ward. The Government block works at the headquarters of the People's Committee of Phu Lam ward.
3. Establish Binh Kien ward on the basis of merging neighborhoods in Ward 9 (Thanh Duc; part of Ninh Tinh 3; part of Phuoc Hau 2, part of Ninh Tinh 6 and Lien Tri 1) and An Phu commune, Binh Kien commune, Hoa Kien commune (Tuy Hoa city). 9. Establish Dong Hoa ward on the basis of merging Hoa Vinh, Hoa Tan Dong, Hoa Xuan Tay wards. The working headquarters is at the headquarters of the People's Committee of Dong Hoa town (currently).
10. Establish Hoa Hiep Ward on the basis of merging Hoa Hiep Trung, Hoa Hiep Nam and Hoa Hiep Bac Wards. 12. Establish Tuy An Bac commune on the basis of merging Chi Thanh town, An Dan commune, An Dinh commune. The working headquarters is at the District Party Committee and People's Committee of Tuy An district (currently).
13. Establish Tuy An Dong commune on the basis of merging An Ninh Dong, An Ninh Tay, An Thach communes. The working headquarters is at the People's Committee of An Ninh Tay commune.
14. Establish O Loan commune on the basis of merging An Hiep, An Hoa Hai, An Cu communes. The working headquarters is at the People's Committee of An Hoa Hai commune.
15. Establish Tuy An Nam commune on the basis of merging An Tho, An My, An Chan communes. The working headquarters is at the People's Committee of An My commune.
16. Establish Tuy An Tay commune on the basis of merging An Nghiep, An Xuan, An Linh communes. The working headquarters is at the People's Committee of An Nghiep commune.
17. Establish Phu Hoa 1 commune on the basis of merging Phu Hoa town, Hoa Thang, Hoa Dinh Dong, Hoa Dinh Tay, Hoa Hoi communes and part of Vinh Phu village, part of Phu An village (Hoa An commune). The working headquarters is at the District Party Committee and People's Committee of Phu Hoa district.
18. Phu Hoa 2 commune is based on the merger of Hoa Quang Nam commune, Hoa Quang Bac commune and part of Hoa Tri commune. The working headquarters is at the People's Committee of Hoa Thang commune.
19. Establish Tay Hoa 1 commune on the basis of merging Phu Thu town, and Hoa Binh 1, Hoa Phong, Hoa Tan Tay communes. The working headquarters is at the People's Committee of Phu Thu town.
20. Establish Tay Hoa 2 commune on the basis of merging Hoa Thinh commune, Hoa Dong commune. The working headquarters is at the People's Committee of Hoa Dong commune.
21. Establish Hoa My commune on the basis of merging Hoa My Dong commune, Hoa My Tay commune. The working headquarters is at the People's Committee of Hoa My Dong commune.
22. Establish Son Thanh commune on the basis of merging Son Thanh Dong, Son Thanh Tay, Hoa Phu communes. The working headquarters is at the People's Committee of Son Thanh Dong commune.
23. Establish Son Hoa commune on the basis of merging Cung Son town, Suoi Bac, Son Ha, Son Nguyen, Son Phuoc communes. The working headquarters is at the District Party Committee and People's Committee of Son Hoa district.

31. Establish Xuan Lanh commune on the basis of merging Xuan Lanh commune, Da Loc commune. The working headquarters is at Xuan Lanh Commune People's Committee.
