The National Assembly is reviewing the report on the term work of the President and Government

On the afternoon of October 17, the National Assembly Office held a press conference on the expected agenda of the 10th Session of the 15th National Assembly. Mr. Le Quang Manh - Permanent Deputy Head of the National Assembly Office - chaired the press conference.

Informing at the press conference, Mr. Nguyen Van Hien - Deputy Head of the National Assembly Office - said that the 10th session of the adjournment session, which opened on the morning of October 20 and is expected to close on December 11 at the National Assembly House. The Session's working time is expected to be about 40 days.

The 10th session of the 15th National Assembly is a session with many important contents; the National Assembly has just conducted the contents of the regular session; at the same time, summarized the term of the 15th term.

At this session, the National Assembly will consider and decide on 66 contents and groups of contents. Including 49 draft laws, 4 resolutions on legislative work; 13 groups of contents on socio-economics, state budget, supervision and other important issues.

These include: reviewing and deciding on socio-economic issues, state budgets; reviewing and approving the Resolution of the National Assembly on the results of thematic supervision "Implementation of policies and laws on environmental protection since the Law on Environmental Protection 2020 takes effect.

The National Assembly reviewed and discussed the summary report on the implementation of members of the Government, Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court, Chief Prosecutor of the Supreme People's Procuracy, and State Auditor General for the resolutions of the National Assembly for the 14th and 15th terms on thematic supervision and questioning.

Discuss the draft report on the work of the 15th term of the National Assembly; consider the work reports for the 2021-2026 term of: President, Government, National Assembly Standing Committee, Ethnic Council, National Assembly Committees, Supreme People's Court, Supreme People's Procuracy, State Audit.

Consider and approve the Resolution on summarizing the work for the 2021-2026 term. In addition, the National Assembly will consider and decide on many other important contents.

At this session, the National Assembly also shortened the time to present the submission; arranged the presentation to integrate some reports; arranged the National Assembly to listen to present the submission, report and discuss in groups and halls in groups for a number of draft laws, resolutions, and reports in the same field.

The 10th session did not organize questions and answers. Accordingly, the National Assembly changes the way of supervising the implementation of the National Assembly's resolutions on thematic supervision and questioning in the form of: The Government and agencies will send full reports; National Assembly deputies will send written questions for respondents to continuously answer from now until the 10th Session; at the Session, the National Assembly will synthesize the report and arrange a National Assembly session on this content.

Arrange time for the National Assembly to review and discuss in the same session the draft Report on the work of the 15th National Assembly term; on the work reports for the 2021-2026 term of the President, the Government, the National Assembly Standing Committee, the Ethnic Council, the National Assembly Committees, the Supreme People's Court, the Supreme People's Procuracy, and the State Audit.
